“ mơ ” translates to “ dream ” in Vietnamese
Dream for Tomorrow is is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to provide poverty assistance and education support to individuals in need in Vietnam. Dream for Tomorrow assists orphaned children in the Lac Thien orphanage and low-income families in the surrounding villages.
The Lac Thien orphanage is located in the Ninh Hoa district in the province of Khanh Hoa on the south central coast of Vietnam. The orphanage was created in 2006, after a baby was left at the steps of two Buddhist nuns. Ever since, they have continued to grow in size and are home to many children suffering from the prolonged devastation of chemical weapons used during the Vietnam War. Like the nuns who founded the orphanage, DFT recognizes that it takes a village to raise a child and hopes through its contributions, this village will continue to raise many.
